Valentine’s Day Couples Contest Entry: Joshua & Yin as Kamina & Yoko

Here’s another look at an entry for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest!  Here we have Joshua and Yin as Kamina and Yoko from the series Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!  While neither of these cosplayers used our wigs for their cosplays we have some great recommendations for styles to use in case you are looking to cosplay as either of these characters! For a Kamina cosplay we recommend that you style our Apollo Wig in Shadow Blue. – What inspired you to do these cosplays?

Gurren Lagann was just such an epic inspiring series that continues to drive people to push their limits and do the impossible. For a short series Gurren Lagann just left such a strong impact that the characters are still iconic today.
– What got you into cosplay?

Love of anime and finding characters that we can really identify with and learn from.
– Why do you love cosplay?

It’s so much fun to dress up as and portray some of our favorite characters and really make some people’s day with it. I love doing in character shenanigans with my cosplay friends and love seeing people’s reactions.
