Valentine’s Day Couples Contest Entry: MarLouie & Ana as Nick Fury & Black Widow (The Avengers)

Here’s one of entries for our Valentine’s Day Couples Contest! MarLouie and Ana are cosplaying as Nick Fury and Natalia Romanova “Black Widow” from The Avengers. Ana used our Hera Wig in Dark Red for her cosplay! If you are looking to get Nick Fury’s short buzzcut but do not want to do that to your own head we recommend that you take our Apollo Wig in Black and trimming it down to get a short cut like the one you see. -What inspired you to do these cosplays?
Marvel comics, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, then of course the movies Iron Man, Iron Man 2 , Thor, Captain America and The Avengers.

-What got you into cosplay?
The thrill of not only being someone else for a day but to be someone/something with super powers, or to be a fantastical creature; to be able to create your own reality.

-Why do you love cosplay?
Although my husband and I are new to cosplay the reason we started was to branch out creatively and have fun. Since we’ve started we realize we love cosplay because it gives us the chance to be special, it fills a fantasy element in our lives that we don’t get ordinarily get just being ‘us’. We also enjoy sharing our passion with others whether it be costume parties, Halloween, Comikaze or other conventions we are able to get into.
