Our Blue Steel wigs are solid, dark blue grey. Blue Steel is more of a dark grey wig with a blue undertone than a true blue color. Under natural light, the grey tone is more prominent with a slight dark blue tint. Indoor fluorescent lighting has yellow tone and will show more of the blue tone of this wig (as seen here).
Direct lighting, like from a white flash, will increase the intensity of the blue. If using a yellow flash or filtered flash there is a possibility of color variation. Studio lighting will have the same effect as natural lighting if the studio lighting is white. All our Blue Steel wigs are shot under studio lighting.
